This polyurethane steering rack bushing is a direct replacement for the factory steering rack bushing. The factory bushing is made from rubber and has a reputation for wearing out for various reasons resulting in a sloppy, mushy feel. Replacing it with polyurethane can improve steering response and driving feel.
